"Listen, the atmosphere will throw you off a bit. Its an old building that could probably use some work BUT when I tell you this is a diamond in the rough, I mean it. Great food. There's hardly ever more than 2 people working so this isn't a place for 17 of your friends and family to meet for lunch. However, if you and a few friends want a phenomenal burger with some perfectly crisp onion rings? This is the place. Also if you're a ranch lover, request a bottle with your lunch. You will thank me."

"Nothing better than a burger cooked in an old establishments kitchen. Second time to stop here, and once again a great burger and onion rings. The jalapenos on the burger gave it just the right spicy taste, and compliments the burger with the lettuce and tomato. The onion rings have a light batter and are perfectly cooked. It the type you bite and the whole onion slides out because it's too tough to chew threw with your teeth. Ice tea was great, not the old stale kind you sometimes get. Definitely stopping by any time in near Davis!"

"Forget the national chains and support the local holes-in-the-wall where the waitresses call you "hun" and are super-friendly. According to the waitress, this place has been around forever and going by all the regulars who stopped in while I was here, I believe it. Burgerland is the bomb and a must-visit if you like experiencing the real America! Sadly, there's a Sonic across the street. No respect..."

"If you're looking for a good-quality hamburger and sides in Davis, you can't go wrong at Burger Land. Don't let the looks fool you - they don't charge extra for the atmosphere. The price was very reasonable and the small-town friendly service was worth coming back for."

"Friendly staff, $15, 8 shrimp, fries, unsweet tea and the meal came with vegetables, but I said no to vegetables. Fries are cooked thru, but not crispy, just the way I like them. Lot of choices, look forward to going back."

"A great place for a burger. Hence the name. They also have other items on their menu. An old fashion diner with great burgers. Forget about the Sonic across the street. Make yourself happy at burgerland. Very affordable as well. Real fries and onion rings. You can't go wrong."
